“I’m not originally from Carlisle. I grew up in Annapolis, Maryland and moved here when I went to Dickinson in 2000. I met my husband my senior year. I never imagined myself staying in Carlisle after I graduated, but my husband is definitely rooted here and didn’t want to leave. So here we stayed, and it’s been the best place to raise a family and to teach violin to the children in the community. I love the communities within the community in Carlisle. With the kids there’s school, sports programs, and community events. I love their friends, I love their friends’ parents, I love their teachers. The nice thing about Carlisle is just how close knit all the communities are.” – Blythe Foreman, Carlisle Resident, Parent, and Violin Instructor
